Description
I have seen thess beautiful snow drops in a garden near from my place. I asked the owner of the house about allowing to make some photos. The granddaughter, a girl about eight years old,was so happy that her snow drops will be online! I gave her my website adress and I hope she will enjoy seeing here the beautiful spring flowers from her garden! Thanks a lot!
(At the end I let her to use my camera and take a photo! She was so happy!)
Snowdrop (Greek: milk flower) is a small genus of about 20 species of bulbous herbaceous plants in the family Amaryllidaceae, subfamily Amaryllidoideae. Most flower in winter, before the vernal equinox (20 or 21 March in the Northern Hemisphere).

Thank you very much, Veikko, for visiting my snowdrops photo! Here where I live (550 meters above sea level) the grass is green also in winter, therefore it looks so aestival!
